When Mad TV first started out, I didn't think it was as good as some of the other sketch-comedy programs that were out there. But when I started following the man-child character Stuart, I really look forward to episodes of Mad TV where they have a sketch with Stuart in it. He is absolutely hilarious in my book! He does remind me of bratty little "touch-me-not" kids I knew growing up, obcessive whiners, sugar junkies, and no-talent FOPS who always say "Look at me!" or "Look what I can do!" and then do something totally moronic or simple, and want a bunch of praise for it.
In this character, I think Michael McDonald has hit it on the head and he absolute cracks me up with his portrayal of Stuart.
Do you know a kid in your neighborhood who acts like this in some ways? Tell us your story. How do you deal with them if you have the unfortunate experience of having to tolerate their presence?
I also like the lady who plays his mother. Christa Flanagan, right? She's a stitch!
On Mad TV, is man-child "Stuart" played by Michael McDonald your favorite character? Know any kids like this?
OMG that show was crap before Stuart!! I don't even bother watching that show unless I know that there's a Stuart sketch embedded in it.
I actually grew up with someone who acted like Stuart. When we were in the 8th grade, he got on the bus in the middle of August, 95 degrees outside, with shorts on and cowboy boots ON THE WRONG FEET...
Reply:That is the stUUUpidist show ever and that character makes me mad. I don't believe there is a child on earth that way and if there is God help them and their parents.
Reply:Stewart is the best thing ever on mad TV. His mom eats vicodin for lunch and passes out drunk in the living room!
I do NOT know any kids that behave this way.
Did you ever see the one where he's got his speedo on w/ his plad shirt tucked into it and he's on the couch on his back kicking his legs around cause he's throwing a fit and Mo is at the opposite end of the couch and his schmecle falls out and he and Mo both loose it? Soooooo, funny.
Nooooooo, dooooonnnnn't
