Since im short i kinda look bigger than what i really am. People say im not fat but i feel like it all the time and im so self conscious when my boyfriend touches me (not even in a sexual way) Just any way... I hate looking like this. Im not doing this for anyone but me.. I exercise now. run everyday for about half an hour and i plan on working my way up to an hour everyday.I do crunches on my Ab lounge every now and then but i know i need to do it 3-4 times a week to tone my stomach. The problems i have is with my stomach, legs, hips and thighs.. I know thats a lot, thats why im asking you guys for help.. I really need it. I'll exercise all the time if i have to.. But also, i know i dont eat right, i dont eat a lot, but when i do, its practically junk so... And is 3 months enought time to get to 120 lbs?

Im trying to lose weight.. please help!!?
Be cautious of what you eat. Losing weight means you use up more calories that you take in.

Reply:The running is an excellent start, however, if you don't eat right it's useless.

Continue to run, but replace the junk food with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Reply:im 5'2 and weigh 100lbs i should weigh more to match my height. maybe take dance classes. or dance for 30 minutes to all kindofs of songs . jog around the block. try not to drink sodas or so. eat more nutritious foods. join yoga or something
Reply:yes Baby you are overweight checkout this

Determining desirable body weight:

If the tables are not available, a simple way to determine desirable body weight is as follows:

Women: 100 pounds of body weight for the first 5 feet of height, 5 pounds for each additional inch.

Men: 106 pounds of body weight for the first 5 feet of height, 6 pounds for each additional inch.

Add 10% for a large frame size, and subtract 10% for a small frame size.

You need to stop eating food that make want to eat more (crave for food) u are the only one who can identify it. Good examples are Pastry(pies), Cookies, cakes etc especially things with alot of sugar, Carbohydrates(eat raesonable qauntities).

i hope its going to help you
Reply:try running for 45 min every day and do situps/pushups before/after you run to build strength....give yourself a limit of 1 junk food item a day or every other day, and eat relatively healthy during the day. If you need a snack, have a carrot or an apple or something...if you aren't motivated for something like that then join a club or a class that does a type of exercise that you like and go to it regularly.

Hope this helped!
Reply:Well, running is good, and in time it should tone your thighs. But if you're been doing it for a while, then you might want to change up your routine. Maybe run on an incline, or up and down stairs to further the results. Don't go too crazy with the exercising though, it's good, but I've seen girls diet and exercise to the extreme, which isn't good.

With the diet, don't eat junk food! I know it'll be hard, but you have to resist! If the junk food in the house is tempting you. then get rid of it, if you can. Any foods in particular you like eating? Because I know healthier options that are just as good, so I can maybe give you a list. Watch what you eat, and exercise in moderation. You have about three months to lose the weight, and you can do it in a healthy fashion, losing 1-2 lbs a week. Running a half hour burns about 250 calories, so if you cut another 250 out of your diet, then you should be able to lost your goal amount of weight.

Again, don't go overboard! Stay healthy! And don't let the images you see in the media (really skinny people) bring you down. I think 120-125 lbs should be good for you.
Reply:You can lose 8 pounds safely per month, so 3 months are more than enough. First, you need to start eating right, absolutely, no junk whatsoever. Keep exercising - if you could go to the gym and take the cardio kickboxing class, that could help you a lot (don't forget to consult with your doctor first).

You need to be strict with your diet, especially at the beginning, otherwise exercise can't do it alone.
Reply:I am only 5'2 and was 133 lbs about 2-3 months ago. We seem to have similar body types as I tend to carry weight in my stomach and love handles too. I exercised hard for 6 months and only lost 2 lbs. I was so upset. I ended up learning how to eat good balanced and nutritious meals but also continued to excersize. Weight lifting is important along with cardio as you will burn fat while sleeping and not just when aerobic. If you eat junk then your body will not be getting what it needs while you are exercising. I am 121lbs now but my stomach and love handles are not gone yet and they seem to be the last to go, your body might be like that too and it might just take time. Try to eat 2-3 servings of fruit and vegetables a day (fresh) and watch what you eat, no fattening fried foods or condiments %26amp; sauces. Mix up your workout constantly and get in your targer heart rate for at least 20-30 min. about 4x a week. Consistency is the key, If you want to loose that much weight that fast you will have to change your diet more and eat less and much healthier. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Stop drinking coffee if you do and watch your sodium intake. If your body isn't getting the nutrition it needs it might not let go of the weight as quick as you like. Feel free to email me and I can give you more tips on my specific success results. Good luck!
